Knowing how to open the hood of your vehicle is important for checking your oil, and other vehicle maintenance. Following these basic steps will allow you to open the hood.
- Pull the lever located below the steering wheel and to the left of the brake pedal.
- Lift the hood slightly.
- Pull the yellow lever, located under the hood, to the left.
- Lift the hood completely open.
This vehicle's hood will remain open without support, however other vehicles may require the use of a rod or support to keep the hood open.
