The
4th Annual Jig's Up Blugold Ice Fishing Contest was held on
Lake Wissota on Saturday, February 11, 2017 with weigh-in stations at
The Edge Pub and
The View.
Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane was a proud sponsor of the event and participants had the chance to win a brand new 2017 Ford F-150 XLT for catching a tagged fish. Over $80,000 in cash and prizes were up for grabs at this contest presented by
UWEC Recreation,
UWEC Blugold Athletics, and the
Lake Wissota Lions Club. With temperatures in the 40's, it was a beautiful day to be out on the ice!
