Recap of the Vehicle Winterizing Workshop at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane

Yesterday, Wednesday, November 18, 2015, guests had the opportunity to learn valuable information about preparing their vehicle's for winter. This free event was held in the service lanes at  Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane. The service team demonstrated and explained best practices for vehicle maintenance and preparing for winter. Topics included, checking tire pressure, checking tread depth, checking the air filter, checking oil level, coolant testing, fluid testing, and use of jumper cables. Guests were able to ask questions during the presentations to gain a full understanding of the topics. Thank you to everyone that attended the workshop!

How To Unlock Your Steering Wheel


On occasion, you may find that your steering wheel is stuck, and your key won't turn. This can be fixed in 2 easy steps. The wheel should be able to turn slightly to one side.

First, grab the wheel with one hand and turn in the direction that it moves.

Next, with your other hand, turn the key forward. 

The steering wheel is now unlocked and your vehicle is ready to drive.

2015 Coat Drive at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane



The 2015 Coat Drive at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane was a success! The coat drive brought in an estimated 150 coats, and all were donated to ARK of Eau Claire! The goal was to fill a Ford Transit Connect with as many coats as possible between October 5, 2015, and November 6, 2015. New, and gently used and cleaned, coats were being accepted as donations to help those in need in the Eau Claire community. WQOW News 18 even made a visit to Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane to see what the excitement was about! Once the coat drive had concluded, the coats were dropped off at ARK of Eau Claire on Monday, November 9, 2015.


Thank you to everyone that helped with the coat drive. Your donations and generosity are greatly appreciated. The coats will go to those in need in the Eau Claire community. Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane is happy to help with making "The Difference" around Eau Claire!
