Recap of the 2016 Polar Plunge with Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane


It was a chilly weekend for some of the Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane team at the 2016 Eau Claire Polar Plunge! Four brave employees walked onto the ice of Halfmoon Lake and took the plunge after raising $1,100 for Special Olympics Wisconsin. The snow was falling and the water was cold, but the team was happy to be supporting a great cause in our community! Check out some of the photos from the event, below!

Meet Mark Hovorka


Mark Hovorka is from Robbinsdale, Minnesota and is now a Service Consultant at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane. Mark decided to come to Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane because of the opportunity for growth. He says his favorite thing about the dealership is that it has "the friendliest group of people I've ever worked with." In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his children and granddaughter. Drag racing is also one of Mark's interests. He has been involved with drag racing, building engines, and cars for nearly 40 years.

Empty Bowls Feed My People Food Bank 2016

Feed My People Food Bank Empty Bowls is coming to The Florian Gardens on March 3, 2016. Enjoy a meal of soup and bread with proceeds going toward the fight against hunger in west central Wisconsin. Hand-made bowls, created by students and local artists, have been donated for the past fifteen years to support this charitable event. With over 2,000 people in attendance last year, this event has become a popular event for a great cause.


When: Thursday, March 3, 2016, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Where: The Florian Gardens at 2340 Lorch Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701

Cost: $18 meal and bowl, $8 meal only, and children 10 and under are FREE

Recap of the 38th Annual Home and Garden Show 2016 Sponsored by Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane


It was another big year for the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association Home & Garden Show. The event was held at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center, Friday, February 19th through Sunday, February 21st. Guests had the opportunity to see, and speak with, a wide variety of experts, and gain knowledge and inspiration for their next home improvement projects. With over 200 booths, daily seminars, giveaways, and shuttle service provided by Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane, the event had a great turnout. Meet Saint



Saint is a Double Doodle from Blair, Wisconsin, and is now at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane. Saint decided to come to Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane because she saw it as a great opportunity to begin her career at the young age of eight weeks. She also thought it would be a great place to nap all day. Saint's favorite things about Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane are, the outstanding napping locations, the friendly people, and the shoes underneath Keena Mohr's desk. Saint enjoys the prestige associated with being a part of a great auto dealer in Eau Claire. In her free time, she enjoys running around outside, and spending time with her adoptive parents, Keena and Benjamin. One day, Saint hopes to learn how to be a hunting dog and to continue growing her already impressive automotive career at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane.

Float Fly & Pie Triathlon Fundraiser 2016 in Eau Claire


The Float, Fly, Pie Triathlon Fundraiser is coming to Metropolis Resort on Sunday, February 21, 2016. During this exciting event, you'll compete in a team of four people in three competitions. First you'll "Float" a lap around the Chaos Water Park lazy river. Then you'll "fly" a lap in a go-kart around the Action City indoor go-kart track. Finally, you'll face the "pie," as you finish a large pizza at Action City. This exciting event will help raise money for the Eau Claire Beacon House. This one of a kind triathlon is sure to be a thrilling competition for a great cause!

When: Sunday, February 21, 2016, 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM


Cost: $160 for a family team, and $600 for a corporate team

Recap of the 3rd Annual Jig's Up Blugold Ice Fishing Contest Sponsored by Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane


The 3rd Annual Jig's Up Blugold Ice Fishing Contest has come to a close, and brought hours of fun and excitement to the ice of Lake Wissota on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Participants at the event had the opportunity to win over $80,000 in cash and prizes including a brand new 2015 Ford F-150 XLT from Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane. A fish was tagged and released prior to the event, giving participants the chance to win the new truck. Rick Mohr, Owner of Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane, appeared on WEAU News 13 with Matt, the Gordy's Guru from Gordy's Market, to talk about the event. Though the fish was not caught during the contest, it was a fun-filled day on the ice! Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane is a proud sponsor of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold Athletics and was happy to be a part of the event!

How To Change Wiper Blades - 2016 Ford Escape

(Example shown is on a 2016 Ford Escape with factory wiper blades. Other vehicles and wiper blades may require alternative steps.)

Keep yourself safe while driving by replacing your wiper blades regularly. Properly functioning wiper blades help to maximize your visibility. Follow these steps to replace your wiper blades so you can see clearly in varying weather conditions.

Removing The Wiper Blade

  1. Raise the wiper blade off the windshield.
  2. Pinch the tabs on both sides
  3. Slide the wiper blade off.

Putting The Wiper Blade Back On

  1. Angle the wiper blade and put the tab in the loop.
  2. Swing the wiper blade to the original position.
  3. Snap it into place
  4. Lower the wiper blade back to the windshield

Once you've completed these steps on one wiper blade, follow the same steps on the other side.

Meet Pat Kremer


Pat Kremer grew up in "Panther Territory" in the small town of Durand, Wisconsin. Pat came to Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane in 2009 when she was looking for work after going through a layoff at a Chevrolet dealership in Eau Claire. She said, "Opportunity knocked and I took the challenge to join the service team." Now, Pat is in charge of Human Resources at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane. When asked what her favorite thing about the dealership is, Pat said, "the people of course!" She loves cars and trucks, and enjoys checking out the new vehicles on the show floor. In her free time, Pat enjoys spending time at her "Lake Home" on Lake Wapogasset. She enjoys the water, summer days, swimming, golfing, boating, and sharing her second home with family and friends. One of Pat's favorite things to do is spend time with her kids and grandkids. She says,"The light of my life shines through the eyes of those grandkids!"

The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association 38th Annual Home & Garden Show is coming to the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center, February 19th - 21st. With over 200 booths, this event will feature the latest in home improvement and garden planning. Daily seminars will be held throughout the event. Parking lot shuttle service will be provided by Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane. The event will also feature a complete patio giveaway, donated by Green Oasis and valued at $10,000. This popular annual event is a great way to gain some inspiration, and know-how, for your next home project!

Eau Claire Polar Plunge 2016


The Eau Claire Polar Plunge is coming to Halfmoon Beach in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on February 28, 2016. After raising over $150,000 for Special Olympics Wisconsin last year, the event has proven that it's become a hometown hit! During this event, you'll have the opportunity to take the plunge into the ice-cold water of Halfmoon Lake, enjoy music, see fat tire bike races, check out the donut eating contest, and cheer on professional log rollers during the U.S. Winter Log Rolling Championship. This event promises to be packed with excitement!

When: February 28, 2016 with check-in and registration starting at 11:00 AM, and plunging starting at 12:00 PM (Click Here for a complete schedule.)
