Independence Day is here again, and it's time for another Eau Claire Fourth of July Celebration! Paul Bunyan Camp is a great place to start the day with hours from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Families can enjoy free museum admission at The Chippewa Valley Museum, with the annual 4th of July Fun Fair beginning at 11:00 AM and ending at 4:00 PM. Train rides with the Chippewa Valley Railroad at Carson Park, an Eau Claire family favorite, run from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Baseball fans can watch the Eau Claire Express take on the LaCrosse Loggers at Carson Park beginning at 6:05 PM, and football fans can check out the Eau Claire Predators vs. Menomonie Thunderhawks game beginning at 6:00 PM. After an exciting day of activities and entertainment, it's great to finish the day with the annual Festival Foods Fireworks beginning at 10:00 PM. All this, and more, is coming to Eau Claire this Fourth of July!

Mark Grill is a Sales Consultant at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane and began at the dealership in May of 2014. Mark enjoys helping customers find the perfect vehicle. He also enjoys working with his fellow employees. When asked what sets Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane apart as a dealership, Mark explained that this dealership is a "Best Price Store" and that it's important to put the customers first. He also mentioned, "The Mohr family has been great to work for, for the last two years." When asked what sets him apart as a Sales Consultant, Mark explained that he feels he is a low pressure Sales Consultant, and he is well-liked by his customers. Two of his favorite vehicles at the dealership are the F-150 and the Mustang GT. He said the F-150 is "the best truck on the road" and the Mustang "has great power and is very fun to drive." In his free time, Mark enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Lynne Anderson was born in Milwaukee, WI and now lives in rural Whitehall, Wisconsin. Lynne is the Office Manager at Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane and began at the dealership in November, 2009. She said her favorite part of the dealership is "the people - both fellow employees and customers." In her free time, Lynne is currently working on home remodel projects with her husband. She said, "We are also spending our evenings and weekends keeping up the yard, garden, flower beds and newly planted trees. We enjoy spending time with our dog - taking her for walks, rides and playing ball." She also said they enjoy their evenings on the patio around a wood burning fire.

If your vehicle is equipped with a rear wiper, it's important to operate it properly to maintain visibility while driving. Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane shows you how to operate the rear wiper on a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium in this short tutorial. To operate the rear wiper, use the switch at the end of the wiper stalk. If the switch is set to "O," the rear wiper is off. For intermittent wiping, position the switch to the setting above "O." For continuous wiping, position the switch to the setting on the top. To wash the rear window, push the stalk forward. The washer will continue to spray as you hold the stalk forward.

Recap of the 40th Annual Blugold Booster Golf Outing 2016 Sponsored by Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane
It was another great year for the 40th Annual Blugold Booster Golf Outing hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold Booster Club at Mill Run and Wild Ridge Golf Courses on June 13, 2016. The Blugold Booster Club helps provide Blugold Athletics with additional funds and resources. It was a beautiful day on the course and golfers had the chance to win a 2016 Ford Explorer from Eau Claire Ford Lincoln Quick Lane for a hole-in-one at the event. The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association 42nd Annual Parade of Homes is here again! This year, you have the chance to tour 16 beautifully constructed houses, located around Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Altoona, Fall Creek, Mondovi, and Osseo. Tickets are on sale at Menards in Eau Claire and Rice Lake, Gordy's Market in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Augusta, and Osseo, and the Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association office.

It was a beautiful day for golf at the 3rd Annual X Open with 92.9 The X at Lake Hallie Golf Course on June 10, 2016! The outing benefitted Veteran's Charities including, VFW's Unmet Needs Program, Hogs For Heroes, Chippewa Falls Veterans Home, Trinity Equestrian Center's Veterans Wellness Programs, and Wounded Warrior Project. If your vehicle is equipped with a foot activated liftgate, you can open your liftgate without using your hands. With your key fob with you, kick your foot underneath the rear bumper to the left or right of your tow hitch. Stand back as the liftgate opens. To close the liftgate, kick your foot under the bumper again, and stand back as the liftgate closes.
